About Gemvision

We are the only jeweller in York Region using cutting-edge Matrix 3D Jewellery Design Software from Gemvision.

It’s not just rings: we can design any item of jewellery to your specifications, from any image you bring into the store. The technology caters to the select needs of a niche clientele that know and love jewellery. Bring us a cut out of a ring from a magazine, or a photograph of the heirloom bracelet you inherited from your grandmother. Matrix 3D technology shifts the creative process into the customer’s hands. We will build your design immaculately, and we can build it from a simple image.

This technology is revolutionizing the jewellery industry. Previously it took days to hand draw and prototype a piece of jewellery, and customers could not see a model of the finished piece before fabrication. Now it takes seconds to design virtual 3D jewellery on-screen and generate a detailed colour preview that can be printed or emailed. The process creates 100% dimensionally accurate jewellery based upon the customer’s unique design, and is more cost effective.

How to enter Hempen Jewellers contest

There are two ways to enter our contest to win your own, unique ring valued up to $5,000!

OR
  1. Fill out the entry form on this website and attach your inspiration for the ring you’ve always wanted (a sketch, magazine cut out, photograph, original heirloom). Submissions must be in .jpeg or .pdf format.
  1. Come into our store with a sketch, magazine cut out, or photograph of your dream ring and fill out an entry ballot.


Please submit your entry by Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Once the winner of the contest is notified, they must respond within 10 days of the being notified, by email or phone.

Every submission that we receive will be offered a complimentary ring polish and cleaning. This offer will expire on Thursday, December 15, 2011.


 

If you win...

The following will occur:

  1. You will come into the store to claim your prize.
  2. Using Matrix 3D Design Software, we enter the image of the ring that you provided with your ballot into our state-of-the-art Gemvision program.
  3. The program creates a 3D on-screen render while you watch.
  1. A resin model of your ring will be produced for you to try on for size and feel.
  2. You choose the stones and precious metal from our range of gems, gold, silver, or platinum offerings and we labour, design and fabricate your ring for you, with a value up to $5,000.
  3. If you want to upgrade the value of your ring, you can. We will pay the first $5,000 and any additional costs will be payable by you.


 

Terms and Conditions

Please read the following details about our contest:

  1. Must be 18 to be eligible. Must come in person to redeem prize when notified.
  2. To enter a competition you must be: (a) an Ontario resident; and (b) 18 years or over at the time of entry.
  3. No purchase necessary.
  4. Only one entry per person.
  5. Submitted sketches, magazine cut outs or images of rings will not be returned.
  6. Contest winner must come in person to accept the prize.
  7. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason.
  8. The contest winner will be notified by email or telephone details supplied by contestant.
  1. The prize will not be transferable to another person.
  2. No part of a prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.
  3. If an advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
  4. Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.
  5. Please read our Privacy Policy which tells you how we use any personal information we may collect about you by entering a competition. Our Privacy Policy can be found on the competition website: www.yourgem.com.
  6. Hempen Fine Jewellers reserves the right to amend these rules at any time.
